By The Rev. Meredyth Ward I’m a visual processor, and the numbers of the dead were too abstract for me. I began cutting pieces of fabric and ribbon for each person in our commonwealth who died from the virus. The number I landed on was 6547 – the number of Massachusetts deaths on the day we reached 100,000 deaths. I knotted them to a cord, and we hung it at Good Shepherd this morning.
